In Lab Post
Today two of the group members, Anley and Kevin, went to the machine shop during class, to cut a semicircle into the water gallon, since we could not make one the last time we were at the machine shop. The person in charge of the lab said the previous day that he would have a mini saw ready for us to use when we go there today. It was a lot easier to use than the one we tried using last time and left that terrible mess that you can see on the top left of the semicircle.
This cut will actually allow us to put the pet food in. To prevent the pets from reaching the food, we will later make something that acts as a cover. While Anley and Kevin was at the machine shop, the rest of the members decided to write down the dimensions of what was already made. This would come in handy for the CAD models. We also used wood glue to reattach the two wood pieces onto a larger wood platform, since that was all we had at the moment.
