A lot of animals following their instinct of eating food when they see them. This can cause health issues with the animal and cause them to become overweight. To prevent this, dog owners would have to go through the trouble of putting out their food tray at certain times and sometimes this can become a hassle especially if you are living a busy life style. For this engineering design lab, we want to make an automatic pet feeder that will periodically dispense food out for the pet at set intervals so that the pet does not overeat or starve. This will definitely help pet owners that don't have the time to pour their food in a bowl or are just forgetful of putting the food out.
